A non-Java surface map of the U.S.

NCAR: 500 MB (18,000 feet) Analysis
Analysis of what's right above you.

Intellicast's Surface Map
A great map with isobars! Good for predicting surface winds and checking on fronts and other high energy phenomenon. Requires Java.
